As a training specialist (or eLearning developer), I design engaging learning experiences to drive human performance and fulfill business needs. Each instructional design project featured in this portfolio includes an illustration and description of how the project was created. For each of these projects, I handled the instructional design, media design, and eLearning development tasks for the duration of the development.

Unless otherwise noted, the deliverables produced by these projects are proprietary and owned by my client. As such, I can describe them but not distribute them online. However, all of my original projects are freely viewable and distributable, as noted.

I desiged several training simulations for a business-critical inventory accounting software system using Adobe Captivate. This innovative design targeted both novice and experienced users simultaneosly by putting the user in control of how much guidance was provided in the instructional process, which added an extra layer of preparation for passing the required assessment. This innovation required me to redesign the e-learning user interface and develop and document the procedures used by our team to reproduce this type of simulation.

This 90-second promotional video was designed in 2018 as a marketing tool to drive online traffic to CES University, the training website of City Electric Supply. It was shown at trade show conventions and featured as an introduction to the CES Learning Management System. To produce this video, I used Camtasia Studio and Audacity to edit online recordings, effects from the Techsmith library, and my own voice-over narration into a format optimized for streaming delivery. The video demonstrates my ability to write effective marketing copy, provide engaging vocal delivery, and capture attention through sophisticated visual styling. In this video, these elements are blended into a focused, coherent message that generates excitement and anticipation of the online training experience that CES provides.
